Cómo realizar el ejercicio Double Leg Stretch («doble extensión de pierna» o «estiramiento de ambas piernas») en Pilates
Objetivo:
El propósito de este ejercicio es fortalecer los músculos estabilizadores del abdomen, mientras se está desplazando el centro de gravedad del cuerpo.
Mantener un control abdominal, mientras se coordina el movimiento de piernas y brazos con la respiración.
Preparación, previa al movimiento:
Colócate acostado, hacia arriba, con las rodillas flexionadas hacia el pecho y las manos apoyadas en los tobillos.
Ejecución:
Primero, inhala y mientras levantas la cabeza de la colchoneta tienes que ir elevando las piernas hasta llegar a una contracción abdominal. Es en este momento, es donde tienes que llevar ambas rodillas hacia tu pecho, sin llegar a tocarlo.
Repeticiones: 6-8 veces
